I was really pleased to discover this series of books by Agatha Frost. This was a great start to a series that makes you want to read the next one as soon as you’ve finished!
It’s a fab, gentle cozy mystery with a brilliant amateur sleuth who pulls you in from the start. She’s one of those ones you’ll love to see develop through the series and there are lots more books to read! So, if like me you get a bit addicted to a character, there’ll be plenty to keep you going! The story is complicated enough to keep you guessing, but not so hard you spend the whole time frowning trying to remember who’s who and what’s what. I love a foodie cosy and this one will certainly whet your appetite!
